  1. Interaction and participation with fellow Guild mates is our primary requirement and you should treat others as friends and with respect.
  2. Read our policies to see how we rank people, how long a probation period is etc.
  3. You reflect the Guild; don’t sully its good name. We want to have a good reputation in Neverwinter and we want to be renowned for being helpful, funny, easy going etc. we don’t want our name tarnished by actions that you take that would reflect badly upon us.
  4. You must be able and willing to effectively communicate in English via chat and / or via Discord communication (native speaker is NOT a requirement - Most of our members have English as a second or even third language)
  5. If you need to leave the game for a known or unknown period of time you need to inform an officer in advance (if possible) to avoid being kicked for inactivity (an alternative to this is to post it in the forum under ‘leave of absence’)
  6. Light hearted banter is acceptable, just don’t cross the line and be more than willing to apologise if it is pointed out to you that you have. Please refer to ‘Severe transgressions’ below.
  7. Sanctuary is part of the Relentless Alliance. Please read and abide by the Alliance Code of Conduct in addition to our own Guild Rules. (The Alliance Code of Conduct can be found here)

Severe transgressions could result in an immediate removal from the Guild and Alliance.
  1. Hate speech based on race, gender, national origin, sexual orientation, and religion will not be tolerated. Violations of such can lead to the termination of your Guild membership or your probationary period (30 days)
  2. Do not troll, spam, beg, insult, flame, kill steal or bad mouth players in any of the in-game activity or communication channels.
  3. If you have a disagreement with a Guild or Alliance member, please keep your conversation private and not on Guild or Alliance chat channels or over comms. NOTE: This rule over-rides the Alliance suggestion of keeping it in your own guild chat as it must be kept private and not disrupt everyone else's enjoyment of the game.

Failure to follow these rules will have consequences.
We have a dispute resolution process. The Dispute Office will intercede, when needed, in disputes involving guild members.
Our Guild Ambassador will deal with issues related to the Alliance.

Consequences and repercussions for breaking the rules depend on the severity.
A Dispute Officer will contact you when you have transgressed (broken the rules) and if its merited you will receive an official warning.

We have a three strikes general policy:
Two warnings and on the third you will be removed from the Guild and Alliance
Some transgressions may be deemed low grade and as such the "warning" flag will be removed after 30 days.
In addition to receiving a flag you will be temporarily reduced to rank 2 ‘Ronin’  (please refer to ranking page)

You will be informed of this by the appropriate Guild Officer.

Warnings count towards removal from the Guild. Although warning flags are removed after 30 days, a record will still be kept and a person who has had multiple warnings could find themselves facing removal from the Guild.
