Guild run composition including max newbies
At least 5 people, control and DPS play a huge part. The more people the easier it gets. You can have anywhere from 5-40 people in this event.
Tactics/Game Play
This is an event that happens every two hours, on opposite hours that Dragon Flight. To call the event, you need to be at the front bridge at the :30 mark opposite Dragon Flight. The person will be there for 15 minutes, unless someone starts the event.
There are the three areas to protect, but not all three need to be done. Depending on numbers and abilities, you can choose to protect one, two or three sides. You will get very similar rewards regardless of what you choose. The North area is, you guessed it, north of the stronghold. Out the north doors, and on the bridge heading to red or blue dragons. The east area is right outside the main door of the stronghold, past the bridge, right by the travel post. The south area is out the doors by the coffer, and past the bridge leading to the green and black dragons.
The first part, is that treasures and vegetables will be brought to you. It will be up to you, and your guild mates to protect them from the incoming evil monsters!
Once your supplies have been brought, mobs will start to spawn at the three roads leading to the treasure, the first few rounds are pretty straight forward, you will have one mob at a time coming from a portal. Once you get into wave 4 and 5 it becomes more difficult, you can have several mobs coming in at the same time, and have lots to worry about. This is where the control and strong DPS comes into effect.
If a monster manages to get past you, and steal your supplies, KILL IT! If you kill it, it will drop the supplies that you can pick up again and put back into your pile.
There will also be catapults popping up in each area, these are important to kill fast as they take a lot of supplies from you. They also drop a bunch of stuff to make your pile bigger when you defeat them.
Other than that, it is rinse and repeat for the 5 waves (or more if you should choose).
Strategy:
The strategy behind this is to kill, kill, kill, as fast as you can. If you are short on people, or damage, it is suggested that you only protect one area. You will get the rewards if only one place stays alive, but at least one needs to stay protected.
Most times, you will vote to end after the 5th wave, as the prizes do not increase very much compared to the time and skill required.
Each character you play can earn 600 influence plus grey vouchers weekly. This really helps the coffer.
